THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CARETAKER
Speaker Sandy Hansen-Wolff shares her story of caretaking, rebuilding life and lessons learned from her own experiences as a young widow who struggled to regain solid ground while assuming responsibilities of her late husband's agribusiness company. Sandy began speaking and doing consulting work as a result of her own experiences in being thrust into entrepreneurship in 2003 when Randy Hansen, her young husband of one year, died of Leukemia.   Although always an entrepreneur and leader at heart in her childhood and previous careers, she was left to manage the ownership and management of her husband's feed company, AgVenture Feed & Seed Inc..  The then insurance agent took over these responsibilities although she knew very little about the feed business.  Sandy was determined to keep the business going despite industry pressures and challenges with the business that then was near bankruptcy. 

Sandy's story of personal tragedy and leadership during crisis became a platform for speaking and consulting with leaders and groups in a variety of sectors.  Twenty years after the loss, Sandy still uses these lessons to inspire others to pick up the pieces and create a path for coming back to life. Sandy and her team scaled and recently sold her agribusiness company and now spends her time sharing her passion and experience through her speaking, consulting and business visionary work with her second company www.sandyhansenwolff.com. Sandy is a featured keynote at many leadership and business conferences, special events, entrepreneurship seminars and the like. As a consultant, coach, business leader and group facilitator, Sandy has a strong passion for creative vision and strategy when leading, working with, and partnering with businesses, leadership teams and executives.
Sandy and her husband Terry live in the Richmond, MN area with their cat Lily. She is a stepmom to her two grown twin stepdaughters Holly & Hannah. She is most passionate about helping other people, entrepreneurs and leaders elevate their success and happiness to thrive again after tragedy and unforeseen circumstances.
